WGI Recap and FreeDrum.Info Book Publishing

A little bit of WGI Results and the potential future of FreeDrum.Info books.

WGI Finals and WGI Videos …
If you haven’t seen the WGI scores yet, they’re up. Lucky for us, most of the drum/stick manufacturers have some sort of video content available shortly after these larger events.

Vic Firth has their typical VF Saultes WGI page available, and videos (usually great) are expected on April 21. Look for Riverside (RCC), Blue Knights, Freelancers, Dartmouth, Mission Viejo, Penn State, Stryke, and a bunch of others.
Pro-mark has a handful of vids up on their Pro-mark TV page. Scroll to the bottom of the video list. Includes Pioneer Indoor, Mission Viejo (pit), and others.
Pearl may have something available soon on their marching page. At this time there’s only a link for WGI 2007, which you might be interested in.
Innovative has a note on their homepage about vids coming soon. Keep an eye out I guess.

Publishing Book via Lulu …

Lulu.com offers book publishing for really cheap, so FreeDrum.Info is going to start offering a book each time there’s enough content to fill one. The books will probably cost under $10 and feature a coil binding so the book can easily lay flat on a music stand. The first edition will probably be available in 2009.
